The Wind Helps...

A great day to be sitting out in my garden. Bath my three dogs and boy! oh! boy! I was poofed by the time I was done. Sat on my reclining chair out in my garden and a gentle breeze was blowing... was able to drift in and out of consciousness as the cool wind blows. The red palms swaying back and forth adds to this nice feeling of freedom.

It is nice to be able to relax without having anything to do, my mind naturally wound down and I was thinking of all the good times I had with my friends, the numerous experiences we had together as we grew up... thoughts of how God is gracious in giving me a good family, the close relationship we share despite of all our peculiarities and imperfections.

With the size of the average family shrinking fast, I wonder if the generations ahead of us would be able to have such experiences... memories of the fights we had, the unpleasantness of it all seem so close and yet insignificant as I thought of how good it is to have a good family where members accept each other without questions and apprehension. God is good!

I thank God for blessings uncountable, I thank wife for putting up with my nonsense, I thank brothers and sisters for being close, I thank friends for accepting me for what I am. I have much to be thankful!
