Holes, holes and more holes!

Greetings to all! Am back in KL for half a day and am glad to be able to update you guys. So sorry for the long silence. I was pretty busy with my relocation to the kampung. We moved on the 22nd and with three lorry load of 'rubbish' we have accumulated over the years, we spent the first week unpacking and cleaning up. Having 6 dogs, 3 of them puppies did not help things as we had to take care of them as well. Needless to say we were stretched to the limit, the contractors who were supposed to finish up their work did not do so and we had lots of interuptions. After more than 10 days, I must say we are almost there. I had to drill so many holes for my fittings so much so I am sick of the power drill, I figured I have another 30 odd holes left to drill and after that I am done. God is merciful!

I do not have internet access yet and am still thinking how I can get access. Telikom gave me a cdma phone as there are no lines but half of the time there is no service. They have ran out of stocks for the antenna booster so I would have to bear with the poor signal till they get the booster installed. Managed to install the satelite dish for my astro yesterday and at least now we know what's happening out there.

The dogs are super happy with the space and surrounding, they are busy exploring the new surroundings and they have stopped showing me the sad faces. Just yesterday I bought some fishes from the breeder to stock up the big pond that we have, 50 tillapias, 50 grass carp, 50 patins, 50 catfish and 20 'soon hock'. Hopefully some of them will survive and grow up as there are many predator fishes in the form of the haruan in the pond. There's a lot to be done at the farm and I am looking forward to it, for now, I need to finish up the living quarters first. Next item on the list would be establishing the irrigation system before the planting of trees. After the trees, I hope to clean up the pond of all the noxious weeds now proliferating in abundance in the shallow waters.

It would be at least a month before I can receive visitors so I do hope all my friends and family members would bear with me. I appreciate the support and prayers. The sound of crickets at night and birds in the morning is therapy for the tired limbs and sore muscles. God bless all!
