a touch of rainbow

the weather is super hot these days, with the bad haze enveloping the nation, walking outside or rather working outside is an unpleasant experience. a result of man's action? nothing much happened here the last few days, the apostle came over with his gf last friday night. i brought them up to butterworth on saturday morning to collect their new puppy, a 6 week old golden which they named rainbow. rainbow is adorable, she slept most of the journey back, cradled by the owner. they spent the weekend here and let yesterday afternoon for home. we spent a lot of time watching the three goldens play together, it is fun to see the interaction between the three, gordon was well behave with the small rainbow while daisy is possessive over her 'cage' and food. daisy is lest accomodative with the puppy. it is good to have friends over, what more with a little puppy.
most of the durians if not all have fallen and we have had our fill of the king of fruits, the mangosteens are in and the dokongs too so i guess we'll be having these instead. i am still recovering from flu so i did no heavy work beyond the usual chores. the coming week will see the erection of the chicken barn and duck shelter, the walking platform over the lake is almost complete so you can walk 40ft out to the pond, give another three weeks, we should have the fish cages up too. well, that's the update for now. cheers and God bless!
