A rather busy day for us as we tried our very best to make up for lost time due to the rain yesterday. The first barn is almost ready, must say that it looks more like a small chalet than a home for chickens.Anyway, I am glad to report that we have finished the first unit. The door and windows were constructed and fitted. Only the internal finishing is left and that we have to wait as the wire mesh for the flooring below the roost poles are MIA. The supplier is probably sleeping as we had order these quite some time back. With the completion of the first unit, the second one should be ready too by next week. We will then proceed to install the irrigation system. Green house follows next... lots to do but so little time to do it all. Physically tired so that's all. Cheers!
