Rain, lots of rain.

Rain, lots of rain. In fact it has been raining non stop for the last couple of days. We couldn’t continue our work on the new barn and the chicken area is pretty muddy, all messy and mushy. It is a dirty job but a decent job as we see how the chicks have grown. Looks like the rain is here to stay and our coming days will continue to be dirty and unpleasant and work on the barn have to be put on hold. Well, that’s life. We would need to learn how to work according to the seasons and not fret over lost hours.
Took the opportunity to clean sections of the house as well as to do maintenance work, mostly indoors as the outdoors are wet, really wet, so wet that even the earthworms are making their way onto our garage floor and any cemented place. I am glad to be able to complete some long standing indoor work.
Had been listening to a series of teachings by a Stephen Armstrong on the sovereignty of God and it made a lot of sense and was a blessing to me, a sort of confirmation on much of what I want for the future. I would strongly encourage you to listen in too. He has provided these teachings for free you can download at his website www.stephenarmstrong.com. Apart from this series, you can also download teachings on the book of Luke and Revelation. If you have no access to the internet, I’ll gladly burn you a … wait a minute, what am I talking about?!! If you have no access then how in the world would you be able to read this blog??? Sorry. Please do the download. I did not have broadband so it took me some time to download all seven lessons. Once again, I strongly encourage you to listen to the teachings. Take care all….
