My Report for this week.

Hi! All. In the city again today, sent some eggs to my customers, about 120 of them to be exact. We sell each egg for 50 cents and so far demands exceed supply. In a few weeks time we will stop selling eggs as we embark on our own hatching program. The fact is we can't even recover the cost of fuel in delivering these eggs to the city. It is also quite difficult for us as it is our goal to provide affordable goods. Till we have chickens to deliver, it really is tough for us to just deliver eggs. So apologies to all.
Work at the farm is limited to tending to the resident birds and minor maintenance work as it is raining every other moment. The weather is crazy this year and I am sure as the days advance, it will be totally unpredictable. Our durian trees are in full bloom but with the persistent wet weather, I am really not sure if the fruits will set. On the bright note, our lemon tree is having quite a number of fruits so lemonade would be available on a regular basis soon.
The small chicks are coming along fine though we had some casualties from the sudden change in weather. The adult birds are well, eating well, sleeping well and enjoying the cool evenings. Me? Whenever my dear wife is back, I eat well, sleep well too. When she is not around, I try to work hard, leaving very little time to idle around.
There is one thing lingering in my mind lately, how we place so much importance in money to the point it governs almost everything we do or want to do. I feel money has replaced God in my life and only now God is helping me to slowly place money in its' rightful place. Please pray that I be able to worship the true and living God and not let money claim the throne of my heart. Lord have mercy... bless with what I need, help me see how little I really need, help me realise how much I do need you. Fill me with your presence, walk alongside me in this difficult path...
