Spent my weekend attending to the farm, birds, cutting of grass... undergrowth a better word to describe the neglected land. Also got to feed the fishes in the pond, it is nice to see both small and big ones snapping up the pellets. Walking around the land brought memories of Furry, Reno, Bassey and Daisy's Little Boy. Warm and sad feelings took its turn, though I have to say that at the end of it I felt more sadness than otherwise. The weekend was too short, time spent with my remaining three puppies seems too short. This morning we brought biggie girl to her new home in tropicana and boy! was it hard to leave her.
Anyway, sometimes it really isn't up to us, it fact if you think about it, nothing is really up to us. We play with whatever cards dealt to us and if we get a good hand then fine and if not, then just play to the best of your ability. Heh! I must sound incoherent tonight. Forgive me but my mind is really exhausted. Tonight I leave you with something to think about... I say to you 'momento mori'. Remember that.
I pray tonight that all 7 of my precious puppies will bring blessings, joy and laughter to the homes they now belong. Good night!
