me the kambing.

i was charged an exorbitant amount for my breakfast this morning. on my way to the city, i dropped in to the curry fish head restaurant in bentong, a branch of the one in raub. i took a small plate, scoop some mee goreng mixed with a little meehoon, took 5 small cubes of kambing in curry and ordered one teh tarik. would you believe it? RM1.70 for the noodle, RM5 for the kambing and RM1 for the tea. i asked how they could charge me RM5 for the kambing and their answer made me feel like i was the kambing and they wanted to slaughter me. heh! how about that? my chinese surname sounds like kambing but seriously i am hardly the candidate for the sacrificial lamb, unblemished i am not. the young lady at the counter says as long as you touch the kambing you pay RM5, i told her just five cubes? nope! she wants RM7.70 so i had better pay. lesson learnt, point taken. me am not going back there. they can have other kambings, certainly not this one.
