Kimi was attacked by our 'sweet' Olive last evening. The other two terriers decided to join the fray and set on poor Kimi. This is the first time I see Kimi in a state of shock. To make matters worse Gordon and Mac was fighting too. After all the commotion, we had to put Kimi in the garage as she was in a state of shock. Needless to say she suffered quite bad injuries, we had to bring her down this morning to have her wounds stitched. Sigh! The world has gone crazy, and my doggies too. To think the fight started over a 'kedondong'.
Meanwhile the chickens are doing well, in fact I found two little chicks on Saturday morning, one white and the other black following the mother hen as she peck along. It is nice to see new life. On the down side now that the chickens are quite big, the eagles are coming on a daily basis looking for an easy meal. Such are the perils of free ranging. Anyway, the balance is maintained by the Lord Almighty, we the mortal beings just play as the cards are dealt to us. So far, I have not had a good hand to play with... Lord have mercy.
