The Farmer

Me sweet wife volunteered to feed the doggies today.. a sweet thing to do since I had a full day. Physically I am drained but had a fulfilling day. Visited a friend who is a farmer and he lamented how the middleman is profiteering at his expense.. well, that is his perception as I feel the middleman is also facing his problems, a basic demand and supply situation. However, this is leading to us the consumers getting products laced with pesticides and what nots as the farmers tries his level best to increase yields and not to mentioned beautiful greens without a single hole or blemish. Spare yourself the agony, buy stuff that the worms would eat. Appearance counts but trust me what is really important is substance. This applies to manufactured goods, vegetables, meat, processed food and well people too....
