Very Few Good Man These Days..

Read about the concerns of a certain MCA leader on the printing of the word 'BOM' on the back of a KTM ticket yesterday. BOM was to mean Back Office Machine but apparently in these fearful days and hyper-phobias of terrorism, some people are again apparently affected by it... Well, I can safely conclude from the newsprint that terrorists have learnt to be more professional, to make ticket bombs and to label them appropriately so that those who can read would keep their distance so that they don't get injured from the blast. sigh! These are our leaders, politicians.. and best part is they could read, or couldn't they?

We Malaysians are once again portrayed to be living on trees and brainless too. Come on, aren't there better things to do? Why do we have so many such 'leaders' in our nation? We have the tallest buildings and so much of physical infrastructure to show that we are developing and yet we have failed this very important area of developing intellect, a brain that functions rationally. In the words of a close friend, Too many leaders sitting on their brains, thinking with their butts!

With such news circulating, we are made out to be a nation of clowns and morons, Hey! Do I need to redesign the GUI of the ERP software? Remove Build Of Material and replace with a less threatening word? PM, PM, you had been a visionary leader, why are you leaving us with so many clowns in the public office? Few days to go and you said they should be sacked? You should have sacked them long time ago!

There is something fundamentally wrong with the way we solve issues in this country.
Take for instance when traders raise prices, instead of teaching consumers to shun unscrupulous traders and frequent those aren't, we choose to put the particular item under controlled item. Aren't we supposed to teach and instruct consumers to be wiser?
When we disagree with views and opinions of others, instead of refuting these views by presenting relevant and well research information, we simply ban them! Aren't we matured enough to study opposing views, forming our own opinions and articulating them?
It is no wonder why we are in such a mess... Fears are used effectively to control alternating views, ideas and thinking.. Check and balances are virtually not existent.. I am looking forward to the future.. I believe once we have hit rock bottom we have only one last place to go.. UP! IMHO, we are not far from the bottom.. God Help Us!
