Sad to read of the many fatalities due to traffic accidents. Despite of all the publicity and messages given to travellers, nothing seems to have registered, people falling asleep behind the wheel, mad drivers showing off their driving skills, speeding on roads not designed for high speeds in cars not designed for high speeds. Every major holiday in Malaysia is accompanied by these needless sacrifices. My condolences to the families.. Let's pray that there be no more victims during the exodus back to the city.
People must wake up to reallity, we are mere mortals. Life is too precious to go like that. Drive carefully! There is no need to hurry. If you are tired, take time to rest before proceeding.
