Was greeted this morning with the sad news of the bomb blast in Istanbul. Innocent people killed for reasons known only to the perpetrator. Religious people? I don't think so... anyone who is prepared to kill, maim another human being for whatever reasons is definitely not ordered to do so by God.
Hatred is not an attribute of God, Holy anger yes! but never hatred which leads to violence. No one has the rights to take another's life. This is not the way to bring about change... each and every human life is precious.. it is a sad day for me. The world's leader needs our prayers, the marginalised, the oppressed, the persecuted, the world needs our prayers, that evil will not reign supreme... we must remember the families of those affected in our petitions before our God...
