Greed, pure greed.

I read with sadness the article highlighting the plight of the orang asli facing eviction from their own land. I think it all has to do with greed, This is not the first time and I am pretty sure it won't be the last. It is a sad state of affairs here in our Bolehland. It is amazing how the politicians had been so successful in dividing us and sowing so much of discord among us that we have so much of distrust for one another. A 54 year old has rightfully observed how different it was back in the old days. Nowadays, whenever there is a need, one just needs to flash the racial card and everyone would just back off, end of meaningful, objective discussions and debates.

I remembered in the aftermath of the cheras toll protest, we had the famous Rahim Noor who was OCPD then I think, making a remark that the protest could turn into a racial issue, he said that what if the stones thrown hits a malay... there you go again.. It is real funny cause the protest was against the high toll charges which affects everyone, not just one race and to the best of my memories, there were malay protesters there as well... Anyway this man with warp views went on to be the highest rank cop in the nation and is bestowed with a Tan Sri too. Please count me out of this prestigious title.

I am all for ACA to be made independent. Put in people with integrity and principles and set them loose.. maybe, we could look forward to better days ahead. Meanwhile I hope our new PM could do something about the predicament we are in.... I hope I can see it in my lifetime but I think it would require someone like David Blaine to make it all just disappear instantly. All the best to PM... Oh! Yes! A word of advice, ...keep a close watch over those closest to you.. they are the ones who will ruin it for you.
