Busy, busy, busy..

My brother tells me that I am too cynical and that I would live a miserable life from being negative about the way things are here in Malaysia. On the contrary, I think the converse is true, I am not negative but realistic and far from having no zeal to move on, I remain full of hope that change is possible. I refuse to accept all at face value and live a pretentious life, resigning oneself that my tirades, views and comments would not bring about change. At sometime, when appropriate I will translate my words to actions. Even if I fail and fall, I would rather fall while trying. I resist all pettiness around me to focus on the more pertinent issues and choose to hope that I will be able to see a better Malaysia for all in my lifetime.

Went to the cemetery on a sort of belated 'Ching Ming'. Four of us went, dad, brother, cousin and I. We cleaned the place up. Cousin offered some burnt offerings, dad offered some fruits for remembrance while I ponder over this concept of resting in peace... don't want to sound morbid but seriously how many of us visit the graveyard and really look forward to claiming our final spot of resting place? The place no one will ever escape from and yet we try very hard not to think of it, well, we'll all die one day and as the years go by, those who remain will see less and less friends, family members, enemies? for some... the last one remaining would have no one familiar to talk to, I guess by then blogs would be good therapy for lonely people. Sad fact is there are many who are not yet dead but are dead to the world and lonely all the same.

Well, FYI I just got back from downunder few days back and would be off to the land next to the land beneath the wind for a few days. Pardon the sparse and scarse notes but the incessant flying and travelling the last few weeks really does wonders to my brains, hopefully travelling will stop soon and hopefully by then I will recover from the braindead syndrome and Oh! Yes! The Election!
