Was away on a short break to Kuching. These are my observations of Kuching...
Hot, very hot weather.
Clean, very clean city as compared to KL. We should send our mayor over to Kuching for study tour.
Green, very green city. Lots of well kept green lungs within city.
Friendly hotel staff at Merdeka Palace.
Enriching trip to the Cultural Village.
Elusive Orang Utan, waited one full hour at the wildlife park but the jungle man did not turn up for his food during feeding time. Many people left disappointed but I think it is good that these creatures are independent and have no need to come out and feast on food provided by humans.
No sight of the hornbill, only clay ones.
Overall a good albeit tiring holiday.
