Good Morning!

Good Morning! It’s 11:10am now and I am sitting here in my living hall watching news on CNN. It is almost surreal to sit here in this peaceful place with trees swaying to the cool winds and listening to how messed up this world is. I am thankful for the time of peace God has blest us with here at the farm. It was raining the last few days and we had to contend with the increased numbers of mosquitoes and flies, yep! I think fly season is on. The dogs aren’t helping one bit with their insistent ‘pooing’ around the house area, funny but some dogs prefer to do it away from the house while some takes joy in doing it nearby. All dogs are doing alright with the exception of ‘Furry’, she seems to have some allergy of sorts, skin breaking into rashes all over. I have placed her on lamb and rice formula since Thursday and hopefully she recovers. If her condition persists then I may have to bring her to the vet. It is pretty expensive to treat animals here in Malaysia. A visit to the vet can cost 4 times the amount for treating a human; I guess the changing lifestyle and the perceived affluence of pet owners have to do with vets charging a premium for their services.

Yesterday morning was spent cutting the grass to the left of the house, thick growth made the use of the brush cutter a real feat, needless to say after a full tank of petrol I was too exhausted to fill up and continue, huh! One reason why people resort to the use of herbicide and weed killers to yield an eye-pleasing land, minus the strenuous physical work. The cutting work was made more difficult with all the rocks, stones and construction debris left all over the place by the contractor. The work can’t be completed in a few days, rather it is a consistent effort and it helps me to change my mind-set from that of an impulsive, instant results required guy to that of one moving and working in tandem with nature’s pace. Have lost some weight from the work and I hope to be in better physical condition as I go along.

The prophet’s home is almost completed, a pretty home I must say. I am looking forward to our new venture of raising chickens free of chemicals for human consumption. I do hope and pray that I’ll be able to find people who wants good quality birds albeit more costly. God be with us in our future. God has taken care of us all these years so there are no reasons why we need to worry, only human to fret but I wish not to. To do that I need God’s strength and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Read of all the statements made by political leaders in reference to DSAI. Sadly, none has anything new to offer to us, beyond the rhetoric of betrayal to party, race and blah! blah! blah! not welcome etc. I really wonder what their stand would be if they were the ones who are on the receiving end. Be reminded I am no fan of DSAI, he was part and parcel of the rotten system, stood for all the decaying and pathetic political leadership. Hopefully he has seen how such a system could be so wrong and bad for the nation. As always, I believe the tunnel is without light and we have a long way to go before we see a tinge of light. The politics of race must be phased out before the change can start. Pitting one race against another is an easy path for so many of our leaders and sadly our general populations are still susceptible to such wicked mind games. God help us! Lord have mercy on me…
