Old Town Pak Kopi!

Potent stuff! That’s how I would describe the coffee I had last night. After having my dinner, I suddenly have this craving for coffee. Against my better judgement, I made a mug of coffee, mind you it was a big mug.. two packs of pre-mixed Old Town Pak Kopi; literally Old Town branded white coffee. Needless to say, it was great, full bodied, aromatic coffee, the perfect companion as I read my PC magazines. Heh! Heh! What I night, I was wide awake till 5am, my brains just couldn’t shut down. Crazy huh? My wife was right, she told me I may not be able to sleep but I answered, What Me? Can’t sleep? Well, that’s the last time I try so much coffee before bedtime.

Did a lot of cleaning yesterday, lots of dead, dried branches and tree trunks which I had to carry with my bare hands. A good work out that would guarantee great sleep at night, except for the potent coffee which disrupted my sleep. The weather is hot these days and this is not the right time to do any planting as no among of watering will be able to stop the sun from scorching the plant dry. However, it is a good time to do repair works, building works as there’s no possibility of disruption from rain. There is truth in God’s word. There is a season for everything. We need to adapt and live in harmony with the times and seasons not fight it. Last night I prayed for my family, that God will have mercy and that all will return to fellowship with Jesus, prayed for my wife that God will have mercy and bless the works of her hands that He will guide and provide strength as she perseveres in her work. I ask God also for grace to live and work in peaceful state of mind. That God will bless the labour of our hands. Please remember me in your prayers too. Thanks and God bless!
