To Penang

Almost full moon today… is that the reason for my retrievers incessant barking outside? My four legged friends seems to make more noise when the moon is up, a reminder of their wild roots. Anyway, I am totally prepared tonight for the non stop noise, I’ll just ignore them and sleep. I am after all very tired. Got up early, fed the dogs and left for KL at 4:30am to join the prophet on trip to Penang. We left KL at 6:10am and drove straight to what used to be the Pearl of the Orient. There was a bad accident involving two trailers which led to a bad traffic jam near the Tanjung Malim stretch on the highway. We were delayed by almost an hour. We intended to have some nice breakfast on the island and had to take some lousy nasi lemak at one of the stops. Had a short meeting before having lunch with our brother Tay over in Butterworth. Can you believe it, all the way to Penang and no chance of any hawker food. Anyway, we left at about 3pm and drove straight back to farmland. God is good! He gave us a safe journey and watched over us.
