A Cool Sunday!

The Lord rose from the dead today! The reason for us to rejoice and give thanks. Was A nice cool day here, a pleasant, breezy day. Took the opportunity to do some outdoor work, a few hours of pure physical workout does wonders to your system. The kind of tiredness that you get feels good. Tonight I am led to think about how we are asleep spiritually. In the words of Keith Green, ‘Jesus rose from the dead but we, we can’t even get out of bed’ Sad huh? But that’s truth in its’ purest form, we are too distracted to realize that we are in the war zone. Whether we choose to fight or not, the battle is on and the devil is fighting for our souls, he wants more to accompany him in the eternal fire that God has prepared for him. The irony of it all is the fact that we who have been saved and rescued live our lives such as those without hope, without vision and thus render Jesus’ death on the cross as insignificant, useless… Lord have mercy on us this day. We need you more each day as we take yet another step closer to eternity. We wish not to spent eternity in damnation but to be in your courts forever. Happy Easter to all!
