a rather lovely morning, was raining since last night and it is cool and refreshing. was woken up by the latest addition, a 7week old golden retriever that we bought last sunday from a breeder in kulim. yep! we took a 5hour drive from our place to kulim and came back with this little male golden. i have named him 'gordon' after flash, he aspires to reach for the stars! you have to come experience him to know what I mean. the fact that he could take such a long drive through winding roads up the hills and down without any effects is in itself remarkable. kimi our beagle had to be let out of the inner compound due to her constant sad looks from being 'jailed'. first night out she chased a cat up the durian tree at 3am and created such a ruckus i had to go out and sort of distract her to give the cat a chance to flee out of the farm. that's life here at the farm, one noisy barking beagle in the wee hours of the morning can wake up the entire valley.
my notebook is still in the works and hopefully i can get it back soon. the half finished new dam was tested the other day when heavy ains poured and it stood the test. thank God! it should be completed after a few more days as we have decided not to push ourselves too hard and suffer heatstroke as the sun is scorching after 12, concrete mixing, wet mortar works are slotted for mornings only afterwhich indoor works takes over. looking at how progress is i reckon it will take at the least 5 years from now before we have a 'dream' place.
am still missing my furry, she is sadly missed everytime I walk around the land, especially the pond... miss you furry...
