Soil & Water Man

dear all, sorry for not writing since my last cranky post. well, i've sent my notebook for repairs, thank God I had asked for a 3 year warranty when I first bought it. farmer may not have extra cash to get replacement if anything should go wrong with it. The days when I could just go out and buy whatever without much thought is over, not to say that it is a bad thing. On the contrary it has help me to be more prudent, less irresponsible to some. Anyway I am trusting God to provide daily.

Progress here had been slow till last week when we finally completed the plans for the chicken barns, we have ordered pipes, ball valves, sprinklers for the irrigation system, timber, nuts and bolts for the barns we want to build, cement, sand and others for the work on dam repair. We started work on the dam tuesday and after today decided to take a break. Really tough work and I have no words to describe it. Piling steel bars, building formwork, mixing concrete, transporting and pouring concrete, moving stone blocks... a true 'nai sui loh'. By the end of the day everything seems to weigh a ton. The repair is mid way now and we would have to continue on monday since we would be down in KL tomorrow and the prophet would be there for the weekend, time with his wife. Timber would be delivered on coming tuesday so we will probably do some carpentry on tuesday for a change. Hope to complete the repairs on the dam by next week so that irrigation pipes could be laid. Hard labour but good for character building. I hope to get the dam up so that the irrigation could be up, the planting can begin and the poultry farming can finally start. Please remember us in your prayers. That's all for now, God be real in your life!
