Work finally started here. We are not super performers but we do our best. The PVC pipes arrived on Monday so we could start on rebuilding the damp and also the fish cages. Yesterday we transported some of the big rocks to the spot next to the dam. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, the damp is used to store water for irrigation as well as filling the pond with water. It collapsed soon after we moved in. Anyway it was tough work as the rocks were really heavy. A good sweat out I would say. Spotted two otters while working... no wonder my fishes are disappearing... Another thing to repair... the holes below the fencing, the otters are using it to come in and out. We decided to alternate the work with some other task to prevent fatigue from setting in. Today was spent moving the rocks again before building the floating jetty and the fish cages. We hope to start on the structural works on the damp next week when the steel bars arrive. Thereafter the irrigation system should be well on its way before we start on the most important structure... the chicken barn. I have completed the drawings for it and next week we will be ordering the timber needed as well as the steel bars.
Oh! We had a lovely time last weekend when both sis A and Sis J came over with their families, dad came too. Times such as these are precious, with so much of distractions around being able to spend time with family members are priceless. Thanks for coming sis... God Bless!
