I too want to succeed...

Tonight's blog is about being successful in life. Or rather how to succeed in life. What do you think? Me think the main problem I have is the definition of success. How do we find the way, the route to take when we are uncertain of the destination, our destiny? Many of us have our own version of what we think is success, our standards of measure differs. Sadly most examples of success these days are the tangibles, physical, accumulation of riches by way of a materialistic outlook. Me think that we can measure the health of our spirit and soul beings by examining what we think is success, the window to our spiritual well being is what we think is success, our motivation that drives us to do what we do in this life. If we bother to be true and frank with ourselves then it is apparent much of what we desire is physical in nature, very rarely do we place God's desire into the equation. Again I am sounding like I am preaching. But hey! Who cares what God thinks of us? More importantly is how our friends, aquaintances, family or the world at large preceives us. What's the take on success? An upscale vehicle, a upscale property, branded clothings, loads of platinum credit cards and cash, the latest phone, the latest gadgets, the best complexion, perfect figure?! silkiest hair? Is there such a word? I can go on and on but seriously tonight, spent a little time to ask the Father what he would have you do to regain favour with him. His definition of success is pretty radical! You know what I mean when you look at Jesus, pick your cross, walk up the hill and offer your life for others that they may find the way back to fellowship with the Father. I think that is the ultimate endorsement that we had been truly successful. That's reflection for tonight! Now to fulfil the request for all things related to success. It is late and my mind is about to shut down but I will give it my best shot.

In order to succeed in life one must...

never fear failure.
embrace failure as life's best tutor.
take small steps forward, one at a time.
not be distracted by the journey but to focus on the destination.
ignore the noise and listen to ones own heart.
choose the narrow winding path and avoid the straight and wide road.
keep looking up and ahead.
find the cause before taking the walk.
first let love rule supreme in all that we do.
be the trailblazer and set the path.
have compassion for all.
listen to the Father and talk less.
be like Jesus.

Think that is enough for tonight. Goodnight! Take care all and pray for yourself before you pray for others.
