Came home last night to a totally dark house and property. The moon was absent so the only source of light was from the street light located at the front gate which is downhill at least 120 meters away. The elcb tripped from lightning I guess. The rains are pretty frequent the last few days so it must have been a thunderstorm while I was in the city. Had a good rest and started this morning with cutting the grass after attending to my dogs. Funny huh?! We asked for rain and now when it rains I can't keep up with the grass and weeds. It is really tiring lugging the backpack engine as I cut but it is good exercise for me. After the grass cutting routine I bath the dogs... all ten of them. Needless to say I was exhausted by the time I finished. Took a nice nap and evenings was spent doing some light work, pruning the plants and applying fertiliser.. etc. Think I'll go easy tomorrow since it is a sunday. Probably visit the sunday market and just jalan jalan.
Work on the barn will resume when the prophet comes back. We have very little idle time here, everywhere you look there's work to be done. I guess this is good as an idle mind is a play ground for the devil. Gotta go now, wife is preparing dory fish fillet for dinner, yummy!
