we are slow

a super hot day with super high temperature here at the farm. guess it
is the same all over the country. the hot weather made our progress here
pretty slow. i have come to accept that i can set a lot of targets,
datelines but ultimately it is dictated by factors which are out of my
control. a checklist is useful to keep track of the many outstanding
things to do but it is no guarantee that it will all be done in the time
frame we want. meanwhile we will persevere on, slow progress but a step
at a time hopefully my new life and direction will work out.
we painted some of the cut timber today, once the painting is done we
will proceed to put up our first chicken barn. some may wonder why it
takes so long to put up one barn, well we are not building the typical
barn, ours is expected to last our lifetime... heh! that's why it is
taking such a long time. our chickens will get to stay in a bungalow not
some low cost flats. that's all for now. goodnight.
