another day.

had an early start this morning. the dog were making lots of noise, ranger as always were howling away.. it was raining last night so they didn't get to spend their usual long evenings out. heh! my dogs are intelligent lah! anyway, i cut the grass today. after almost a month of painting and fabricating the barns, the grass are overgrown and trust me when i say this, it is near impossible to walk through them without the fear of accidently stepping on hidden snakes. for the sake of my beloved dogs, i decided to leave the barn painting for later in favour of cutting the grass. well, it was a tiring affair. managed to do some painting in the evening. we will continue with the grass cutting tomorrow morning. cutting grass, keeping the compound clean... reminds me of our quest to be refine, to be washed white as snow, staying pure... it is not a one time affair but a consistent effort requiring focus and tenacity. no keeping still, lest you falter and go back to your old state. God help us all lah!
