I am glad to report that the chicks are adapting well to life here. They are more active now and besides pecking, sleeping, eating and drinking, they do nothing else. Heh! Anyone you know behaving likewise?
Did very little today, cut the grass from morning till almost 1pm before taking a break, spent my evening doing some welding works, repairing the kennel area. Before you know it, it was almost dark. All the dogs were out including the two goldens, Daisy and Gordon are adapting well to being confined in the internal kennel area instead of having the entire garden and corridor. The change was necessary as I am pretty busy with the arrival of the chicks and do not have enough time to clean up the mess that the two dogs created.
Remembered Furry today as I cut along the path where she used to run, I miss her dearly. She is a well behaved dog and obedient, traits which all other dogs do not possess. She is the perfect companion... sigh...
