CNY Greetings!

Busy, busy, busy. We did not expect the many orders that came in for the chickens. Had been processing the chickens for the past three days, it has been a learning experience for us, to make matters worse the commercial feather removal machine could not be used on our chickens, our chickens has super thin skin and so it breaks easily, needless to say a lot of birds had to be kept for our own use. Removal of the feather is now done by hand making the process snail pace hence our inability to finish within the two days which we have allocated for this task. Anyway, I do hope our customers will understand our predicament and not expect the chickens to look perfect. We tasted the chicken and it is GOOD!
We also had to accommodate request for birds with heads, with feet, some without, some must be chop up, some wants the innards as well while others wants it totally dressed…etc. Well, we have decided that with the next batch, we will supply cleaned birds minus the feet, head and ‘spare part’, this will simplify and speed up our process. It is really difficult to keep track of all the different requirements. Our mistake really as we did not set the standard. Another problem is people who have preference for the sex of the bird. Really they all taste the same as they have not reach the age of sexual reproduction.
Anyway, we were short on supplies and might have disappointed many but than it is just chicken stories and I apologize to all for our less than perfect performance this round, with time we will improve, in all aspects. Nevertheless, I assure all that the chickens which we supply are of good, nutritious and natural quality. I do take this time to wish all another challenging and exciting year!
