On the bus...

My first time writing in the bus, am going to the big city by way of wonderful Transnational Express bus. It’s running late and there’s no sign of the driver, a typical Malaysian scene repeated through the length and breath of our beautiful country. Public transport that is quite far from acceptable standards found in more advance countries. Compared to the transport systems I encountered in Japan, Hong Kong and closer home in Singapore, it will be a good many years before we can come close and looking at the way things are moving, I may not see it in my life time.
Anyway, I’ll be leaving for the city of angels tomorrow morning and back coming Monday. Already I am missing my four legged companions. Didn’t have much time with them yesterday as we were busy with the arrivals of the new chicks and the processing of birds for this week’s delivery. Had dinner at 9pm and by the time I got to sit still it was time for bed. Naturally I did not get to jump into the pond with Gordon though he did go in for a quick dip. God willing, I’ll do it when I get back.
Yes! Finally the bus is moving, 20 minutes behind schedule. Got to quit now to put my notebook away. God Bless all! Oh! Before I forget, don’t worry too much about the H5N1, our farm is pretty far away from the flight path of migratory birds and we do not allow any visitors. First sign of problem with the birds, we’ll simply cull and shut down the farm for disinfection and sit it out before starting again. Anyway, we are your best line of defense as we have absolutely no intention to be the first casualties. So, please stay calm and continue to get the best quality chickens from us.!
