Panas left for the day

We had a nice change today, clouds and with it some rain making it a cool day. I did some maintenance work, cutting through thorns and thistle near the small pond area. Have neglected this area for quite some time so much so the wild canes grew to a height of 10-12ft and covered most of the pond’s edge. It would easily take at least 3-4 days to clear this area. I hope to clear this area and plant some tapioca. I am also thinking of cleaning the small pond, drain it entirely and fill it with fresh water before stocking it with small fishes. This land is just 4 acres and yet there’s just so much to do.
The jack fruit which my brother in law wrapped up when he was here was over ripe and fell on its’ own. Didn’t notice it as I was busy lately. Such is life here, you must be constantly looking and checking otherwise the bananas will be too ripe and the birds will get to it, the mangosteen will cover the ground, the longans will be eaten by the dogs, the coconuts will be overly matured. So far I am only able to track the papayas as it is near the house, the dokongs in its’ full bloom are too much to consume same for the kedondong, even the small lime litters the ground. The pomelos are abundant but I have yet to wrap some of them up… I guess over time I will improve as I work each section of the land systematically.
For now I do hope I can get consistent orders for the chickens, at least on a weekly basis. After all there are bills to pay. He! I have yet to dig my own well for water supply or generate electricity on my own.
I pray God will help me achieve my dream of self sufficiency... or at least close to it. I pray that God will also bless me with more time with my family, my parents, siblings, friends that I can be a blessing to them. Jesus loves me and I would wish for all to experience His love too.
