Another update...

The hot weather is back, it's been a week since we had any rain and the sun feels really hot. Wonder if it is nearer to the earth at this time of the year. Had been pretty busy juggling a few things at the same time. Though I do feel tired, I am glad to be busy. Nothing beats physical work here at the farm, the benefits aren't instant but in line with the principle of sowing and reaping, we shall surely reap the fruits of our labour in the future. Somehow this concept is difficult to accept as we are all too familiar with the 'instant results' culture of this modern world. In fact we seem to be in a hurry in all that we do, so much so I really wonder just what's the hurry for and just exactly where are we hurrying to? I am being moulded... still no where near perfection yet..
Did some fishing the other day to break the monotony, caught some nice fishes, released most of them and kept two big haruans and one very big patin. My wife cook one haruan for dinner last night and we had one 'pak sou kung' this evening. Fishes from our pond no longer has the 'mud' smell which we used to experience. Probably due to the fresh water coming in to the pond. We have one 'old' red tilapia waiting for us to enjoy. Apart from having great tasting chicken and eggs, we now have good fresh fishes too. Another two months or so, we will have some durians though I am not expecting many fruits this season as most of the premature fruits have fallen due to the storms which brought strong winds. Well, that's life here. We are looking forward to our new female golden which we will be bringing home from Kulim this coming friday. Will post some pictures for your viewing pleasure, that's all for now. Take care all and please fight a good fight of faith remembering always that Jesus has risen and shall return soon! Maranatha!
