Our pretty Ginger whelped a total of 9 puppies on the 4th January 2008. Needless to say this has contributed to my physical exhaustion. We had a full day processing birds on Thursday and was looking forward to a good sleep when Ginger decided otherwise.
She started at 2am with the first boy and finished at 6:23am with the last boy. Two boys followed by five girls and then two more. I had my hands full and trully am tired ever since. With the birds all ready for processing, it is tough to juggle all the task at hand. So far so good. I hope to get some nice pictures and post them up but that would have to wait till coming wednesday when I get to the city as it is practically impossible to upload pictures via my snail connection here at the farm.
It would be a busy time ahead but just one look at the beautiful puppies brings a smile and takes all the fatigue away.
