Another day in Paradise

The weather is certainly hot these days. Over here at the farm in the middle of all things green we are not spared the heat and haze. I couldn't do any serious outdoor work yesterday so I decided to flush my car's cooling system. Poured radiator flush fluid into the coolant reservoir, idled till working temp, continue idling for another 20 minutes and proceeded to flush the entire system. Needless to say the fluid that came out was murky. Refilled the system with distilled water and Water Wetter by Redline. One job done. Today, I changed the spark plugs. It was no easy task as there were so many parts to disassembled on the V6 2.5 engine of my Italian beauty before I could get to the ignition plugs. Just too many bolts, clips, tubes and what nots to mess with. Was really tired by the time I'm done. Well, another job done to my satisfaction. The engine purrs like a cat now! Heh! Wish I had the 3.2 GTA.
Progress with the farm expansion is rather slow to my liking but that's the way things are and I shouldn't rush it. Work to remove the old rubber trees are underway and hopefully it will be completed next week. Then it'll be surveying and marking, leveling and construction of at least 10 barns. We hope to engage some external help to speed up works. There's water and electricity supply to rout, foundation and building of a new processing facility. It all sounds overwhelming but God willing all will be completed in good time.
We have also enlisted the services of a full time maid to help with the house work. She is into her third week now and so far she is a good help. She is still afraid of Ranger though. I am sure in time she will get used to Ranger's monkeying antics. The rest of the dogs are fine with her and must say Ranger too, must be due to his massive size and somewhat intimidating look.
