Notes from the Farm.

We had cool nights the last few days, 20 degree C in the mornings are common. God is good! He brought rain last night and practically drenched the land with precious water. Most of the newly planted durian saplings are dried up, I have stopped planting for now till the irrigation system is up. My Reno isn’t helping one bit, in the process of marking his territory he killed a few of my plants. There is no way of deterring him, guess I have to put up some sort of barricade around the small plants. Fishes are doing well, of the 250 red tilapia’s released into the pond, I managed to count 40 remaining just the other day. The snakeheads are proliferating well from the rich source of food available. It is peaceful here in our home.

 

Am very sad over the death of innocent people and children in Bestlan. It is unbelievable how people could justify such inhumane actions.

 

Am glad DSAI is released. Glad he could be will his family again. Sad that people think that the judiciary is free and independent just by this one verdict. I say we have a long way to go before we have what we use to have. Meanwhile I pray that DSAI will get the medical care he requires and get well. As for his political future, I do hope that he goes with his heart and not with those who have vested interest. He has experienced the worst of the system which he once supported and perpetuate, it would be good for him to first spend time with his loved ones before proceeding. We, Malaysians will support those who stand with integrity and with honesty. With the number of clowns occupying positions of power, we are in need of a miracle to bring us out of the quagmire we are in.

 

Tioman, good place to build marina huh? Forget the corals.. what is important is money.. wealth that would line the pockets of many. This is how things work in our country, no one in authority is intelligent enough and with the spine to do what is right. Hey! Who knows... maybe the PM needs to step in again, just the like the good old days, everything, all decisions are executed at the command of one man. I say, leave Tioman alone, look what has happened to Redang and Langkawi. All over the world, people are trying to protect and save the environment, here we take pleasure to destroying what God has bless us with…
